This book has a huge assortment of designs. Produced before 1920, the designs and styles reflect the elegance of the era. There are a few tatting patterns, as well as crocheted edgings using coronation cord... they have a resemblence to Irish Crochet - plus the patterns for some lovely projects such as adorable bags, delicate doilies and even some beautiful curtains.

It also includes many more edgings and insertions for crochet work. Sophie LaCroix designs are very elegant and they are great images of the era in which she was prolific. This particular book is no exception to this, as she raises the bar even further. Lovely cushions and pillows. Stunning egings and insertions for making incredible curtains, table runners, doilies plus much more. A truly amazing collection!

    32 Pages.  Yet another wonderful crochet collection from Titanic Era designer, Sophie LaCroix. In this edition, there are loads of spectacular bedspreads - wonderful old/new methods for beautifying your home! Lacy and lovely, these are they types of vintage work that can fetch hundreds of dollars in antique shops. The patterns in this book are all for bedspreads, from a lovely infant's spread with a filet cherub to a large variety masterful created lacy creations. When I am done restoring my books - I have my eye on making one of these!

It is loaded with fantastic patterns such as many edgings and insertions, a tatted parasol, a lovely collar and insertion for a waist blouse and a beautiful tatted yoke. There are also tatted edgings for centerpieces and doilies, exquisite insertions for pillows, a lovely infant's cap, hankerchiefs and boudoir accessories. An amazing book - one of the best of the Sophie LaCroix series! It is often difficult to find really- REALLY great tatting books from this period. This book is spectacular! There are a wide range of projects - some seen nowhere else, and easy to follow instructions.

Her works are stunningly beautiful, but often can be difficult to work if you are not an experienced crocheter. This book has a lovely assortment of yokes to be used in corset covers and nightgowns. A very delicate and feminine collection!

This collection is amazing - there aren't many pages but what it lacks in quanity, it more than makes up for in quality! If you love to crochet for your home, this collection is a must have!

While Sophie Lacroix books are not for the novice, they definitely can show the masterpieces you can make with a hook and some thread, with a little practice. This volume also includes detailed instructions for an invisible join that will come in handy. A great book!

Sophie LaCroix loved to create symetrically balanced and simply elegant designs. She is one of my favorite designers from this era. In this collection you will find some truly lovely projects, such as dresser scarfs and centerpieces with a mais focus on the edges - how to get a professional and clean edge on your project. Sophie LaCroix designs are amazingly beautiful!

She was multi-talented in many areas and this book explores her beadwork creations. Whether you are a prolific beader or just someone who is exploring the art, this book is a window into the past. The bags and necklaces in this book were all the rage back then - and they are even still popular today!
