    20 Pages.  Basketry is one of the most simplest and useful of the handicrafts. Very inexpensive materials are required to make these lovely and useful baskets, but the creative possibilities are endless! Included are instructions to make a mat, a doll's table, a round work-basket, a straight basket, a pencil holder, a large barrel shaped waste basket and several more designs. It is loaded with detailed illustrations of the various stitches used to make the laces, as well as several finished examples. The book is a goldmine for the experienced and novice alike!     48 Pages. Bead bags are as popular today as they were over 90 years ago, when this book was printed. But this book has more than just bags, there are lovely jewelry items and belts as well as whimisical item ssuch as the pearl bead Juliet cap. Some of these item would be great to make for wedding outfits or gifts at the hoilidays. I have another edition of this book that was printed in 1925, while quite a few of the items may be the same, they are NOT identical books.

    18 Pages. Wallachian Embroidery is a stunning technique that had its origins in the southeastern area of the European continent in what is now modern day Romania. This area is better known for its most notorious leader Vlad Țepeș, who was the inspiration for the 19th century novel Dracula.
    This book contains several lessons which instruct in this beautiful embroidery, as well as many illustrations and photographs of the finished work. This is a simple work to master, involving just a few basic stitches to learn. A very rare and lovely technique that should not be allowed to fade into history!

There is a brief explanation of stitches in the beginning of the book, with detailed photgraphy, and the remainder of the book is chock-full of amazing patterns that you will not see anywhere else!
