This is an ancient technique of a form of cutwork embroidery that has been adapted here with stunning results. Full instructions are included to make over 50 different stitches, as well as stunning finished projects with lovely needle lace edgings.  This book, published over a century ago by the Manchester School of Embroidery is one of the best resources for instruction in Hedebo work that you will find. There are over 50 different illustrations devoted just to creating the various stitches used, including written instructions on each stitch, as well as several lovely finished projects. Also included is instuction in making laces and edgings using this technique. A fantastic book!
