15 Pages. This book give instruction in two rare and quite beautiful techniques of lacemaking. The Teneriffe lace work is made using pins, a needle and thread. The thread is wound from pin to pin and then joined and formed into motifs and sewn together for a border. The Irish Tatting work contains spectacular borders, edgings and insertions that are tatted in fancy patterns reminiscent of the crocheted version. This work is quite beautiful!

The Weldon's Twopenny series covered a wide range of topics. Although none of these magazines were dated, the series of these monthly magazines began in 1885 and ran for nearly 50 years! They are always extremely well illustrated, often with wood cut drawings, and occasional photographs. They are excellent resources to rekindle passions in these forgotten arts.
