15 Pages. One of the lovliest forms of crochet work is the delicate crocheted edgings and corners used for table linens and table cloths. This edition of Weldon's contains seven lovely laces and a bonus pattern of a child's gaiter. Laces include Flemish Net and Spot laces seen on the cover, as well as a Greek Key border, Italian Point Lace, Osprey Lace with corner, Osnaburg lace, Tautonic insertion and a Wide Star lace with corner. Lovely work!
Details:
The Weldon's Twopenny series covered a wide range of topics. Although none of these magazines were dated, the series of these monthly magazines began in 1885 and ran for nearly 50 years! They are always extremely well illustrationed, often with wood cut drawings, and occasional photographs. They are excellent resources to rekindle passions in these forgotten arts.
