15 Pages. This gorgeous form of lace work is very similar to Netting and Carrickmacross laces. Using a net or tulle foundation that is stretched on a frame,the lace designs are created using a fine thread and darned into the fabric of the net. This book contains instructions for 32 different stitches, in both illustrated and descriptive form. Along with this are illustrations and instructions for several finished designs such as trims, handkerchiefs and a flounce that were made with Limerick lace. A lovely and unique form of vintage lace work!
